Key Responsibilities
  • Originate, structure, and execute investments in renewable energy assets, including solar, wind, storage, hydrogen, and bioenergy.
  • Lead all phases of deal execution — due diligence, valuation, negotiations, structuring, and closing.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with developers, utilities, corporates, financial sponsors, and advisors.
  • Monitor portfolio companies and provide strategic guidance to enhance operational and financial performance.
  • Present and defend investment opportunities to the Investment Committee and senior stakeholders.
  • Identify emerging trends, regulatory developments, and technological innovations shaping the clean energy landscape.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in renewable energy investment, infrastructure private equity, or energy M&A.
  • Proven track record of leading and closing complex transactions in the renewables sector.
  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, and structuring capabilities.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Deep understanding of the regulatory, technical, and commercial dynamics of renewable energy projects.
  • Native-level fluency or full professional proficiency in German (written and spoken).
  • Advanced degree in finance, economics, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
