Job summary

Mercor connects elite talent with leading AI research labs and seeks an Investment Banking Expert for a remote, hourly contractor role. You will evaluate financial models, review complex investment content, and provide structured feedback to AI teams, with a minimum engagement of four weeks and 10+ hours per week.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in investment banking and hands-on experience with financial modeling, pitch decks, and investment/analysis memos.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in investment banking at top firms.
• Experience in Financial Modeling, Pitch Decks, Investment/Analysis Summaries and Memos, or Company/Industry Analysis.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the accuracy and depth of financial models to strengthen reasoning and rigor in model outputs.
• Review complex investment banking content for alignment with domain principles and methodologies.
• Provide clear, structured feedback to AI research teams to improve training data quality and downstream performance.
• Develop evaluation rubrics and benchmarks for assessing AI-generated financial tasks and solutions.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure consistency, relevance, and coverage across datasets.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance.
