What the job involves
  • In this role, you will work directly with the management team on a broad range of initiatives to drive both organic and inorganic growth
  • Your work will focus on a mix of operational strategy and acquisition‑driven projects
  • Supporting the identification and execution of add‑on acquisitions (target screening, financial modelling due diligence coordination, and deal execution)
  • Assisting in the strategic development of the business, including market analysis, performance tracking, and integration planning
  • Collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders, including advisors and the investment firm
  • Preparing materials for board and shareholder communication
Who we are looking for
  • First full‑time experience in investment banking, ideally with exposure to energy and infrastructure transactions. Alternatively comparable experience within a private equity fund or PE‑backed portfolio company
  • A strong academic background in finance, economics, or a related field
  • Strong financial modelling and valuation skills, coupled with commercial intuition
  • A hands‑on, low‑ego personality who thrives in a small team environment and is eager to roll up their sleeves
  • Strategic thinker, able to persuade through evidence‑based conviction
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with fluent English and German language skills
