Job summary

Greystar is seeking an Investment Associate in Frankfurt to underwrite opportunities, run financial analyses and support investment decisions.

You will assist with due diligence materials, prepare memoranda, and contribute to asset management and dispositions of existing portfolio assets. An MBA and a second European language are a plus.

• Financial analysis and underwriting of investment opportunities, including the creation of detailed multi-tier pro-forma waterfall model.
• Manage acquisition due diligence processes and closings with outside counterparties.
• Assist with asset management and value-add execution of existing portfolio assets.
• Market investigation of potential acquisitions, competitive properties and local market fundamentals.

Job description

The Investment Associate is responsible for underwriting investment opportunities, providing financial analyses to support investment decisions and conducting market research. The Investment Associate is also responsible for analysing due diligence materials and assisting in the preparation of investment memorandum. The Investment Associate will assist with asset management execution and disposition decisions of existing portfolio assets.

Key Role Responsibilities

About You

We're looking for an analytically-minded professional to join our growing Investment team. You'll bring a solid quantitative and financial background, ideally from real estate, investment banking, private equity or corporate finance, along with experience in financial modelling. In addition, you're a proactive, inquisitive team player who thrives under pressure and communicates with confidence at all levels. An MBA and a second European language are a plus.
