Job summary

Augustus is building a modern correspondent bank and scaling across Berlin, New York, and Dallas. You will join the Talent team and own key parts of the hiring engine from day one, working in parallel with larger projects while collaborating with senior leaders and hiring managers.

You’ll source and engage candidates across multiple functions, coordinate interviews, and help shape our employer brand. This role demands flexibility, initiative, and a willingness to relocate to Berlin or other hubs.

Qualifications

• 1-2 internships or roles in high-growth startups, VC, or consulting, or equivalent side projects.

Few people get to build a bank from scratch. Even fewer get to build one at a moment when banking itself is being reinvented.

The Dollar is the best product in the history of the world - there is infinite global demand. But International Fintechs and non-US banks are left with two unsatisfying options to access it: Either they build on legacy clearing banks that are slow and unreliable, or they interface with middleware providers that don’t move and hold the dollars directly, but themselves rely on underlying legacy banks. Augustus collapses this stack by combining two things: A real, national bank charter (in organization), and Marble, our proprietary core banking system, built around intelligence, made of code.

We are regulated in Europe and live with Euro and Stablecoin clearing today. Now, we are building the US team from the ground up, while continuing to grow rapidly in Europe.

The Role

You’ll join our Talent team and help build the team that builds a bank. We’re scaling fast across Berlin, New York and Dallas, and every hire either raises or lowers the bar. You’ll own real parts of our hiring engine from day one. Like everyone at Augustus, you’ll run day-to-day work in parallel with one or two larger projects.

Hard Requirements

• You are currently pursuing or have obtained a Bachelor's or Master's degree from a stellar institution.

• You have 1-2 previous internships or roles in high-growth startups, venture capital, or consulting and/or you have demonstrated initiative through side projects, student organizations, research, or entrepreneurial experiences.

• You are available for 3-6 months.

• Based in Berlin or willing to relocate.
