Lufthansa Technik in Hamburg offers an internship to support our procurement team for aircraft equipment repairs. You will perform sourcing, tender preparation, and data analyses using SAP MM and related tools.

The role requires at least a 3rd-semester student, enrollment for the full internship period, or a gap year between bachelor and master; a degree in Business Administration or Controlling is preferred, with strong Excel skills and daily English usage.

We are looking for you to support our team for aircraft equipment repairs.

• Carrying out sourcing using various internal and external tools (SAP MM, OneAero, Aeroxchange)
• Preparation, execution and evaluation of tenders for test, repair and overhaul work on aircraft components in direct contact with international suppliers
• Creation and evaluation of SAP MM and SAP Businesswarehouse-based price and supplier analyses to identify potential savings
• Analysis of suppliers' scope of services (capability analysis)
• Support in the preparation of documents for make-or-buy decisions
• Recording of contract data and changes in SAP MM and internal databases
• Active participation in ongoing projects
• Participation in supplier meetings

Requirements

If you would like to join our team, you should bring the following with you:

• At least completion of the 3rd semester at the time of the internship
• Enrollment for the entire period of the internship (current enrollment certificate and written proof of mandatory internship must be enclosed with the application) or the internship between the Bachelor's and Master's degree program (gap year)
• Degree in Business Administration or Controlling. Other courses of study are also possible.
