Job summary

ZEISS Group in Germany seeks a motivated student to join our team as an intern in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science. You will gain hands-on experience in automating and optimizing image-processing workflows, and participate in cross-functional projects including data analysis and programming.

You will collaborate with experts across interfaces, learn how roles interact within the company, and develop practical skills while expanding your network during your studies.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a degree program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Business Informatics, or a related field.
• Interest in new technologies and programming, ideally Python.
• Enjoy understanding complex systems and solving problems in interdisciplinary expert teams.
• Interest in automating processes and optimizing workflows through automated image processing.
• Work carefully, independently, and in a structured way, with a high degree of initiative.
• Strong German and English language skills (written and spoken).

• Enjoy understanding complex systems and solving problems, as well as jointly shaping requirements in interdisciplinary expert teams
• Enthusiasm for optimizing processes and workflows through automated image processing
• You work carefully, independently, and in a structured way, with a high degree of initiative
• Basic knowledge of project management and strong organizational and communication skills, plus enjoyment of teamwork
• Very strong German and English language skills (written and spoken)
