Job summary

ZEISS is inviting students to join as an intern to gain practical experience while contributing to exciting projects in automation through image processing. Qualifications

• Enrolled in a degree program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Business Informatics, or a related field.
• Interest or affinity for new technologies and programming, ideally in Python.
• Enjoy understanding complex systems and solving problems in interdisciplinary expert teams.
• Very strong German and English language skills (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Actively support subject-matter experts (f/m/x) in cross-functional projects and the economical deployment of image-processing automatisations.
• Collaborate with various interfaces and learn their roles within the company.
• In addition, you will take on tasks in data analysis, programming, research, and the preparation of presentations.

Your Profile

• Enjoy understanding complex systems and solving problems, as well as jointly shaping requirements in interdisciplinary expert teams
• Enthusiasm for optimizing processes and workflows through automated image processing
• You work carefully, independently, and in a structured way, with a high degree of initiative
• Basic knowledge of project management and strong organizational and communication skills, plus enjoyment of teamwork
• Very strong German and English language skills (written and spoken)
