Job summary

Bosch sucht ein Praktikum im Bereich Data Science und Machine Learning mit Fokus auf Produktionsqualität und computergestützte Tools. Sie arbeiten im Digitalisierungsbereich und unterstützen bei ML-Algorithmen für Qualitätssicherung in der Serienproduktion.

Sie analysieren Daten, definieren Forschungsrichtungen und bewerten Deep-Learning-Methoden mit TensorFlow/PyTorch. Im Team entwickeln Sie Prototypen für In-Line-Deployments und arbeiten hybrid.

Qualifications

• Masterstudium in Data Science & ML, Engineering, Physics oder vergleichbar mit guten bis sehr guten Noten.
• Erfahrung in Python, PyTorch, SQL und Data Visualization, erworben durch universitäre Projekte.
• Motivation, eigenständiges Arbeiten, Kommunikationsstärke.

Responsibilities

• Mitwirkung an ML-gestützten Qualitätsbewertungen in der Serienproduktion.
• Daten verstehen und Forschungsrichtungen identifizieren.
• Evaluation von Deep-Learning-Verfahren mit TensorFlow und PyTorch.
• Prototypen bauen und Forschungskonzepte im Team testen.

We are looking for an intern in the field of Data Science and Machine Learning with a keen interest in Production related topics and/ or computer vision. As an intern, you will play a key role in shaping digital tools for quality control in production, work closely with our motivated team and benefit from regular exchanges. Join us in shaping new technologies and products!

• During your internship, you will work within Digitalization Department and Production teams at Bosch to advance machine-learning-based algorithms for quality assessment in series production.


• You will actively support the team in understanding the data and identifying research directions.


• Furthermore, you will evaluate deep-learning methods using frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch to identify suitable AI solutions for in-line deployment.


• Finally, you will build prototypes to test and demonstrate research ideas with team members.

• Education: Master studies in the field of Data Science and Machine Learning, Engineering, Physics or comparable with good to very good grades


• Experience and Knowledge: in programming languages/frameworks like Python, PyTorch, SQL and Data Visualization; experience gained through university projects


• Personality and Working Practice: you are highly motivated to learn new knowledge and make an impact; you handle complex tasks independently as well you communicate clearly and effectively


• Work Routine: we offer you the opportunity to work in a hybrid setup


• Languages: good communication skills in written and spoken English and German

Start: according to prior agreement Duration: 6 months
