Job summary

DHL's IoT Center of Excellence in Bonn invites students for a six-month internship starting July 1 or by arrangement, focused on IoT prototype development and embedded design. You will work with IoT hardware and software, learning from a team of experts while contributing to real-world logistics projects.

Qualifications

• Compulsory internship/voluntary internship in Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• Basic knowledge of embedded systems, sensor technology, microcontroller programming.
• Experience with Linux, C/C++ or similar languages.
• Knowledge of communication protocols.
• Ideally experience in Raspberry Pi, Arduino or similar platforms.
• Independent way of working and enjoyment of experimentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the technical creation of an IoT sensor prototype under experienced guidance.
• Support development and testing of software for control and communication of components.
• Assist in researching technical issues and conducting practical tests.
• Collaborate with the IoT team to learn agile ways of working and project processes.
