Lufthansa Technik is seeking a product management intern to explore additive manufacturing in aviation, shaping processes and gaining hands‑on experience in a dynamic environment.

You'll design and optimize quoting and cost estimation workflows, participate in Design Thinking workshops, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop customer‑focused solutions.

Qualifikationen

• Must be in at least the third semester of college for the duration of the internship.
• Enrollment for the entire duration (certificate of enrollment and internship confirmation).
• Studying industrial, mechanical or aerospace engineering or a comparable program.
• Interest in additive manufacturing technology and innovation.
• Some experience with design thinking or project management is a plus.
• Strong written and spoken German and English, proficiency with MS Office.

Want to help shape the future of aviation? In our product management internship for additive manufacturing, you’ll work on innovative solutions, actively help shape processes, and gain valuable experience in a dynamic environment.

• Designing and improving processes: You will assist in defining, analyzing, and optimizing key business processes—particularly in the areas of quoting and cost estimation for additive manufacturing solutions
• Creativity Meets Structure: You’ll actively participate in preparing and conducting Design Thinking workshops to develop innovative product ideas and solutions
• Embracing a customer‑focused approach: You will plan and facilitate customer workshops, working with interdisciplinary teams to develop customized solutions
• Building networks: You’ll help build and maintain a supplier network for additive manufacturing technologies—from research to initial contact

Requirements

To complete an internship at our company, you must be in at least your third semester of college at the time of the internship.

• Enrollment for the entire duration of the internship (current certificate of enrollment and a written confirmation of the mandatory internship must be included with the application) or between your bachelor’s and master’s programs (gap year)
• You are studying industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a comparable degree program
• You are interested in innovative manufacturing technologies, particularly additive manufacturing
• Some experience with design thinking or project management is a plus
• You have good written and spoken German and English skills
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, rounds out your profile
