Augustus is building a US team from the ground up while expanding in Europe. This internship offers hands-on work across core teams with relocation and visa support as part of a vibrant startup environment in Berlin.

You will join one of our core teams and own real work from day one, contributing to recruitment, product, growth, and operations projects while learning from senior leaders and shareholders.

Few people get to build a bank from scratch. Even fewer get to build one at a moment when banking itself is being reinvented.

The dollar is the best product in the history of the world, with practically infinite global demand, but distribution is broken. Global clearing runs on legacy banks that are closed 115 days a year, built for humans and take two days to settle. Augustus is the update to the internet era. We received conditional approval from the OCC to charter America’s first stablecoin-native clearing bank that is always open, made for machines, at the speed of compute.

We are a group of operators, unicorn early employees, ex-founders and people who walked away from degrees because they believe this is an industry and career defining opportunity. We're backed with $40M from Peter Thiel’s Valar Ventures, Creandum and founders of Ramp, Deel and Circle.

We are regulated in Europe and live with Euro and Stablecoin clearing today. Now, we are building the US team from the ground up, while continuing to grow rapidly in Europe.

The Role

You'll join one of our core teams - CEO Office, Operations, Product, Growth, or Talent - and own real work from day one. Like everyone at Augustus, you'll run day-to-day work in parallel with one or two larger projects.

Recent projects run by interns:

• Rebuilt our talent engine and cut time-to-fill from 82 days to 34.

• Took a new product from first customer call to production launch.

• Relaunched our CRM to drive data accuracy.

• Built the sales case behind our largest deals.

• You are genuinely excited about what we are building.

This is not for you if:

• You only want to work on strategic projects.

• You need to know exactly what you will be working on before you join.

• You are looking for a 9-5 role.

Hard Requirements

• You are currently pursuing or have obtained a Bachelor's or Master's degree from a stellar institution.

• You have 1-2 previous internships or roles in high-growth startups, venture capital, or consulting and/or you have demonstrated initiative through side projects, student organisations, research, or entrepreneurial experiences.

• You are based in Berlin or willing to relocate (in-person role).

• You are available for 3-6 months.
