Job summary

Aleph Alpha’s CRO Office seeks a working student or intern for 6+ months in Heidelberg or Berlin. You’ll support strategic and operational projects, from communications to project management enablement, gaining exposure to state-of-the-art GenAI research.

You are a versatile generalist with an entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable in fast-paced environments, fluent in English; German is a plus. The role offers hybrid options and opportunities to contribute across departments.

The role As an intern in the CRO office in a wide range of strategic and operational projects, such as supporting communications, tech-org enablement or evaluations of our offerings. The role offers a unique proximity to state-of-the-art GenAI research, and you will be able to work with some of the brightest scientists in the field. You’ll contribute to a breadth of initiatives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment; one week, you might be supporting our model release pipeline; another week, you’ll be helping coordinate blog posts and conference talks. We are looking for working students or full-time interns for a duration of 6 months or longer, starting as soon as possible in our Heidelberg or Berlin office. Who you are • Previous experience in a fast-paced environment such as consulting, tech, venture capital, high-growth startups, or similar. Alternatively, if you’ve built an impressive project or company, we’d love to hear about it in your application. • We welcome applicants from a wide range of educational backgrounds (incl. business, engineering, natural sciences, ...). A finished Bachelor’s or Master’s degree is nice to have, but not required. • You are a versatile generalist who can jump on any topic and get things done! • You have an entrepreneurial self-starter mindset and an ability to work under uncertainty. • You are humble, self-aware, and a team player. • Fluent in English, German is a plus.
