Zusammenfassung

Munich Re is seeking a motivated working student with an IT background to help develop cloud-native applications in Microsoft Azure. You will independently develop frontend and backend features, document IT systems, analyze issues, and support ongoing IT operations.

The role requires at least 16 hours per week and fluency in German and English, with a friendly, collaborative team. Ideal candidates are enrolled in CS/IT, have basic programming knowledge, and are familiar with Azure or Angular.

This role will be part of the Corporate Functions Tower for Group Technology ( IT1.12), which oversees IT service delivery and manages key relationships across all corporate and central units, including Finance, HR, Legal & Compliance, Services/Facilities, and Procurement. The IT Section Reinsurance Finance Systems delivers business value through the management of IT products including execution of change projects for all Finance departments of Munich RE's Reinsurance Divisions worldwide.

Your Job

We are looking for a motivated and committed working student with an IT background to support us in the further development of cloud-native applications in Microsoft Azure with:

• Independent development of features for the frontend and backend
• Support in documenting IT systems and processes
• Support in analyzing and resolving technical issues
• Contribute to the maintenance and support of existing IT systems

Your Profile

• Currently enrolled at a university or university of applied sciences with a focus on computer science, information technology, or a comparable field
• Available for at least 16 hours per week
• Basic knowledge of programming languages such as C#, Java, or Python
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and/or Angular for front-end development is an advantage
• Good knowledge of documentation methods and tools
• Very good communication and teamwork skills in both German and English
• Ability to work independently and solve problems
• Flexibility and adaptability to new technologies and requirements

Students from countries outside the EU require a German residence-/work permit. The first master's degree may not have been completed before/during the entire internship.
