THI Investments in Munich invites an intern to join the Private Equity Team for a period of at least 3 months. You will help with market research, analyses of potential acquisitions, and support the portfolio companies and financial modeling.

The role requires at least 4 semesters of study in business, technical or scientific fields, a strong academic record, and fluent English and German. A hands-on, proactive mindset and excellent analytical skills are essential.

We offer you the opportunity to gain extensive experience in the Private Equity Team as an intern in our Munich office and to become part of our dynamic, international and experienced team for a period of at least 3 months.

Your role:

As part of an internship at THI, you will be involved in the following tasks:

• Research and analyses of markets, industries and companies
• Supporting analyses of potential acquisitions as well as preparation of investment decisions
• Supporting management and steering of our portfolio companies
• Collaboration in (financial) data analyses and preparation of financial models
• Preparation of investment proposals and other transaction-related documents
• Preparation of potential portfolio exits

Your profile:

• Business, technical or scientific studies with at least 4 semesters of experience at a renowned university
• Strong academic record
• Initial professional experience in private equity, investment banking, strategy consulting, transaction consulting
• Sound understanding of accounting, company valuation and financial modeling
• Interest in investment hypotheses, business models and transformation processes
• Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail, as well as a hands-on mentality
• High level of commitment, initiative, sense of responsibility and ability to work in a team
• Ability to formulate and articulate your own opinions and contribute to discussions
• Highly proficient written and verbal communication in English and German
• Good knowledge of MS Office, databases and creating presentations
