Job summary

Elanco Animal Health Incorporated in Monheim, Germany, invites motivated students to join the Packaging Development team as an Intern Packaging Development (m/f/d) for a 4–6 month period. You will support developing, testing, and evaluating packaging solutions to ensure medicines reach pets and livestock safely.

The role is part of the global Technical Development organization within R&D; you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to documentation, and gain hands-on experience

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Packaging Technology (Verpackungstechnik).
• Fluency in German and good English language skills.
• Proactive, can-do attitude with strong technical interest.
• Good technical skills and structured working approach.

Responsibilities

• Project Support: Actively contribute to ongoing packaging development projects.
• Testing & Evaluation: Assist in the execution of technical tests and the evaluation of packaging materials and systems.
• Documentation: Support the documentation of test results and technical specifications.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand the lifecycle of pharmaceutical packaging.

Intern Packaging Development (m/f/d)

At Elanco, we provide those who raise and care for animals with the tools they need to help animals live healthy, productive lives. We are looking for a motivated and curious student to join our Packaging Development team as an Intern Packaging Development (m/f/d) in Monheim. The Packaging Development Team is part of the global acting Technical Development organization within R&D.

You will support the team in developing, testing, and evaluating packaging solutions that ensure our medicines reach pets and livestock safely and effectively.

Master's thesis supervision

Your Key Responsibilities
