Elanco invites motivated pharmacy students to join the Formulation Development, Synthetic Technical Development team in Monheim for a structured internship. You will work on developing and characterizing veterinary drug preparations and support the daily team activities.

Responsibilities include planning and executing experiments, generating reports, and gaining insights into the regulatory pathways and drug approval processes.

Formación

• Successful completion of the second state examination in pharmacy at internship start.
• Strong interest in analytical or formulation technology questions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Independent and goal‑oriented work style with good communication skills.
• Reliability and enjoyment of teamwork.
• Very good English and German language skills.

Responsabilidades

• Complete the pharmacy internship in Formulation Development, Synthetic Technical Development.
• Assist in development and characterization of veterinary drug formulations, focusing on physico-chemical and biopharmaceutical parameters.
• Integrate into daily operations and support the team.
• Assist in creating experimental plans and executing them.
• Conduct physico-chemical measurements during formulation development.
• Extensive computer-based processing of results.
• Gain insights into development steps and regulatory requirements for drug approvals.
• Prepare a report at the end of the internship.

Pharmaziepraktikum Formulation Development (m/w/d)

Bei Elanco suchen wir einen motivierten und neugierigen Studenten oder eine motivierte und neugierige Studentin für unsere Abteilung Formulation Development, Synthetic Technical Development als Pharmaziepraktikant/in (m/w/d) in Monheim.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Absolvierung des Pharmaziepraktikums gemäß § 4 der Approbationsordnung für Apotheker (m/w/d) in der Abteilung Formulation Development, Synthetic Technical Development
• Unterstützung bei der Entwicklung und Charakterisierung unterschiedlicher Veterinärarzneistoffzubereitungen unter besonderer Berücksichtigung physikalisch-chemischer und biopharmazeutischer Parameter
• Einbindung in das Tagesgeschäft und Unterstützung des Teams
• Mitarbeit bei der Erstellung von Versuchsplänen sowie deren Ausführung
• Durchführung von physikalisch-chemischen Messungen im Rahmen der Formulierungsfindung
• Umfangreiche computergestützte Aufbereitung von Versuchsergebnissen
• Erhalt von Einblicken in die Entwicklungsschritte eines Arzneimittels und regulatorischer Verfahren sowie Voraussetzungen für die Arzneimittelzulassung und weitere angrenzende Bereiche
• Erstellung eines Berichts am Ende des Praktikums

Was Sie mitbringen

• Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes zweites Staatsexamen im Studiengang Pharmazie zum Praktikumsbeginn
• Schwerpunktinteresse an analytischen oder formuliertechnologischen Fragestellungen
• Sicherer Umgang mit Microsoft Office
• Eigenverantwortliche und zielorientierte Arbeitsweise sowie gute kommunikative Fähigkeiten
• Zuverlässigkeit und Freude an der Arbeit im Team
• Sehr gute Englisch- und Deutschkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift

Weitere Informationen

Wir bieten Ihnen die Möglichkeit eines Pflichtpraktikums für die gemäß Prüfungs-/Studienordnung vorgeschriebene Dauer, beginnend ab November oder Mai.
