In this intern role, you will take on a broad range of operational and administrative responsibilities, working closely with colleagues, visitors, suppliers, stakeholders, and teams across the company.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys making things work, takes ownership of day-to-day tasks, and wants to contribute to a dynamic space start-up environment. The role is initially structured for 20-30 hours per week, with the perspective of transitioning into a full-time permanent position based on mutual fit and business needs.

An interest in space and, ideally, previous experience in a start-up or similarly fast-paced environment would be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day office and site operations, including front-desk activities, visitor coordination and supplier interactions
  • Prepare and organize meetings, including room arrangements, materials and practical on-site support to keep the office and sites running smoothly.
  • Your main working desk is the Front Desk to provide support from there
  • Coordinate schedules, appointments, and operational activities as required.
  • Support teams at all levels with operational and administrative tasks.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and phone calls.
  • Maintain accurate records, documents, and administrative information.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and service providers to help ensure that office and site requirements are addressed efficiently.
  • Identify day-to-day issues proactively and help find practical solutions.
  • Take on other administrative and operational responsibilities as needed.
Skills and Knowledge
  • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
  • Apprenticeship in office management or a similar field. Or High school diploma or equivalent; further education or a relevant degree is appreciated.
  • Initial experience as an administrative assistant, office coordinator, site coordinator, or in a related role.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • A strong service orientation and a hands-on mentality.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues across different teams.
  • High attention to detail and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
  • Reliable, proactive, and comfortable working in a changing and fast-paced environment.
  • Interest in space, technology, and innovative products is a plus.
