PHOENIX Pharmahandel GmbH & Co KG in Mannheim is seeking an Intern (m/f/d) for EU Category Management for about 6 months from September 2026. You’ll support growth in OTC, Consumer Health and Beauty across Europe and help design new processes.

You will analyze performance data, research market trends, and prepare templates and presentations for stakeholders while collaborating with purchasing, marketing, and analytics teams. Proactive contributions and teamwork are valued.

Qualifikationen

• Student of business administration, marketing/retail or similar.
• Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluent written and spoken German and English; other languages are a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Goal-oriented, structured and independent way of working.

Aufgaben

• Analyze performance, market and competitive data; derive recommendations.
• Research market and category trends to identify growth potentials.
• Create templates and presentations for internal & external stakeholders.
• Independent project work to develop strategic guidelines for product range, placement and promotions.
• Cross-functional collaboration with the purchasing, marketing and analytics teams.
• Review national processes and obtain insights in communication with Category Managers.
• Support with training courses / setting up the CM Academy.

For our headquarter in Mannheim we are looking for an Intern (m/f/d), EU Category Management for approx. 6 months from September 2026 on.

Support Category Management in driving growth of the categories OTC, Consumer Health and Beauty in pharmacies across Europe. You will work in an international environment and contribute to the development and design of new processes.

Your Tasks

• Support in analyzing performance, market and competitive data and deriving recommendations
• Researching market and category trends to identify potentials for non-prescription product ranges
• Creation of templates and presentations for internal & external stakeholders
• Independent project work to develop strategic guidelines for product range and placement recommendations, as well as for promotion planning
• Cross-functional collaboration with the purchasing, marketing and analytics teams
• Support in the review of national processes and obtaining insights in communication with the Category Managers in the countries
• Support with training courses / setting up the CM Academy

Your Profile

• Student (m/f/d) of business administration, marketing/retail or similar.
• Interest in retail and affinity for health topics
• Good analytical skills and confident handling of MS Office (especially Excel and Power Point)
• Fluent written and spoken German and English, other languages are a plus
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Goal-oriented, structured and independent way of working
