Zusammenfassung

PHOENIX is seeking an Intern (m/f/d) in International Category Management for about 6 months starting September 2026 at our Mannheim headquarters. You will support OTC, Consumer Health and Beauty categories across Europe and help develop new processes and promotion planning.

You will work in an international environment, analyze data, create templates, and collaborate with purchasing, marketing and analytics teams while developing strategic guidelines for product range and placement.

For our headquarter in Mannheim we are looking for an Intern (m/f/d), International Category Management for approx. 6 months from September 2026 on.

Support Category Management in driving growth of the categories OTC, Consumer Health and Beauty in pharmacies across Europe. You will work in an international environment and contribute to the development and design of new processes.

Your Tasks

• Support in analyzing performance, market and competitive data and deriving recommendations
• Researching market and category trends to identify potentials for non-prescription product ranges
• Creation of templates and presentations for internal & external stakeholders
• Independent project work to develop strategic guidelines for product range and placement recommendations, as well as for promotion planning
• Cross-functional collaboration with the purchasing, marketing and analytics teams
• Support in the review of national processes and obtaining insights in communication with the Category Managers in the countries
• Support with training courses / setting up the CM Academy

Your Profile

• Student (m/f/d) of business administration, marketing/retail or similar.
• Interest in retail and affinity for health topics
• Good analytical skills and confident handling of MS Office (especially Excel and Power Point)
• Fluent written and spoken German and English, other languages are a plus
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Goal-oriented, structured and independent way of working
