Rocket Factory Augsburg (RFA) is seeking a motivated intern for the Finance Department in Accounting. You will support the team by entering and processing invoices, ensuring tax and regulatory compliance, and helping with financial reporting.

About The Team

Our international and agile team is looking for a motivated intern (m/f/d) for our Finance Department in the Accounting division. You will play an important role in supporting the accounting department, particularly in preparing and processing incoming invoices. Your work will help ensure that financial processes run smoothly and that tax and accounting regulations are followed.

Your Tasks

• Accurate entry and digitization of incoming invoices in our system
• Verification of incoming invoices for compliance with tax regulations
• Reconciliation of invoices with purchase orders to ensure accuracy
• Assistance with reviewing and tracking payment reminders
• Performing preparatory tasks for accounting to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Following up on missing incoming invoices and ensuring they are received on time
• Requesting corrections or updates to invoices, if necessary
• Monitoring older purchase orders with outstanding or missing invoices and taking steps to resolve discrepancies

Your Qualifications

• Enrolled student in a relevant degree program (e.g., Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration)
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail when entering data and processing documents
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively coordinate multiple tasks
• Proactive and solution-oriented approach to work, as well as the ability to work well in a team
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles is a plus
• Very good written and spoken German (at least C1 level)
• Very good written and spoken English (at least C1 level)
