Job summary

eRC System GmbH is seeking an Intern / Student to join as a Founder’s Associate in Bavaria. You will work directly with the Chief of Staff, assisting on external affairs, people and culture, and operations while handling confidential matters.

You’ll learn from the leadership team, seeing how an aerospace company is built from engagement to internal culture, gaining broad experience across fast-paced projects and cross-functional coordination.

Qualifications

• Pursuing studies in business, political science, engineering or related field.
• First experience in consulting, investment banking, a startup, political office or strategy role.
• Discretion handling sensitive information on people, investors and defence programmes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AI tools.
• Excellent writing and presentation in English (C1) and German (B2).
• NATO citizenship due to security requirements.
• Genuine interest in aerospace, defence or deep tech.

Responsibilities

• Prepare briefings, decks and talking points for meetings with external stakeholders.
• Coordinate leadership meetings, offsites and company events from agenda to follow-up.
• Track decisions and actions across the leadership team and ensure closure.
• Support internal culture and people initiatives such as town halls and surveys.
• Organise visits and events with political, defence and industry partners.
• Manage correspondence on behalf of the leadership in English and German.
• Take on ad-hoc projects for the Chief of Staff & leadership team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Founder's Associate, you will report directly to our Chief of Staff and work at the centre of how ERC System is run. You are a core enabler who helps the leadership team move faster, taking projects across external affairs, people and culture, stakeholder communications and operations through to the end. You are trusted with critical and confidential matters.

You work hand in hand with our leadership team and learn directly from them every day. You see first-hand how an aerospace company is built, from external engagement to internal culture, and gain a breadth of experience that few roles can offer.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Prepare briefings, decks and talking points for meetings with external stakeholders
• Support the coordination of leadership meetings, offsites and company events, from agenda to follow-up
• Track decisions and actions across the leadership team and make sure they get closed
• Support internal culture and people initiatives such as town halls and employee surveys
• Support the organisation of visits and events with political, defence and industry partners
• Manage correspondence on behalf of the leadership team, in English and German
• Take on ad-hoc projects for the Chief of Staff & leadership team

WHAT YOU BRING

• Studies in business, political science, engineering or a related field
• have first experience in consulting, investment banking, a startup, a political office or a strategy role
• A hands-on, organised way of working: you juggle several priorities, keep track of details and follow through without being chased
• Absolute discretion with sensitive information on people, investors and defence programmes
• Excellent command of Microsoft Office and AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT
• Clear, structured writing and excellent presentation skills in English (C1) and German (B2)
• Citizenship of a NATO member state, due to security requirements
