About us

At ablefy, we believe passion can turn into a career for anyone. With ablefy.io, we give coaches, consultants, creators, and entrepreneurs everything they need to build and sell digital products online — simply and efficiently. 70,000+ entrepreneurs already trust us to power their business.

Born in 2015, ablefy has grown into a true all-in-one solution — courses, memberships, payments, e-ticketing, and more. We take care of the hard stuff, so our users can focus on what truly matters: growing their business.

Today we're the #1 platform for coaches and creators in the DACH region — and we're not slowing down. That's where you come in.

Our mission; to build software that empowers everyone to start, run and grow a successful digital business - borderless, is supported by our high performance principles that are crucial to our success:

  • Radical Collaboration
  • Constructive confrontation
  • Adaptive execution
  • Collective ambition
  • Evolving expertise
  • Empathetic leadership
About the role

Everything a new seller touches before they earn their first euro sits in one area: sign-up, verification, offer and pricing setup, checkout — plus the platform APIs that partners and external builders integrate with. It is the entrance to the business, and the product manager who runs it goes on parental leave. We are not putting the entrance on hold while that seat is empty, so this is an eight-month mandate with a clear brief: move the roadmap forward, make the product better, improve the numbers — starting with conversion through sign-up and onboarding — and hand back cleanly.

You lead the cross-functional team without direct reports: the priorities and the product calls are yours, worked out with the other product teams, with marketing, sales and support, and with sellers directly. The strategy is set, so nobody expects you to reinvent the direction. Everything else is yours. We'll help you land quickly, and we'd like you making product decisions within your first month

  • Duration — 8 months
  • Start — 1 November 2026 (ideally)
  • Location — Berlin preferred, remote possible
Responsibilities

This is a commercial mandate. Eight months should show up in the numbers.

  • The roadmap — you own it for the eight months, and the case behind it: what gets built, what waits, and what commercial return each bet is for.
  • Sign-up to first sale — activation as a number: fewer drop-offs, less time to the first euro, fewer sellers who get verified and never publish an offer.
  • Checkout conversion — measurable uplift in the buying experience: payment-method coverage, the friction in offer and pricing setup, and the tests that show the change worked.
  • Revenue through the partner surface — the platform and partner APIs: the integration work partners are waiting on, and the volume that comes through them.
  • The team's focus — prioritisation, the decisions that can't wait, delivery that stays predictable through the cover period.
  • Committed work, honestly re-planned — what stays, what shifts, and saying which is which early rather than late.
  • A clean handback — documented decisions, no unowned commitments, no pile of deferred choices.
Requirements
Domain and delivery — your core strength
  • 5+ years in product management, including checkout, payments, onboarding or verification-heavy flows in SaaS or fintech. You know this domain going in.
  • You've taken over a product someone else was running and kept it moving.
  • Led a cross-functional team through delivery: roadmap and priorities set, commitments kept, engineering trusting the calls.
  • A conversion or revenue improvement you can put a number on and explain your own part in.
  • Written specs an engineer can execute without a week of clarifying questions.
  • Platform and API experience: enough to prioritise integration work with engineering and hold a conversation with a partner's technical lead.
Broader foundation
  • At home in the data: conversion and funnel numbers pulled yourself, the metric defined before the build.
  • Fluent with AI tooling for prototyping — Claude Code, Lovable, Cursor or similar. You get to a clickable concept yourself instead of waiting for engineering, and you use AI to compress research, analysis and spec work.
  • Worked a launch through Marketing, Sales and Support so it landed as adoption.
  • Brought designers in while the problem was still open.
  • Comfortable with a product where output isn't fully predictable — AI-assisted flows are part of this area, and you can say what "good enough to ship" means.
Nice-to-Haves
  • Experience with identity or verification providers, tax and compliance flows, or merchant-of-record setups.
  • Background in DACH commerce; German language skills — verification and compliance conversations often happen in German.
  • PLG: self-serve onboarding, self-serve conversion, in-product upsell.
  • Spec-driven development — you've worked in a setup where a precise spec goes straight into execution.
  • Previous interim or contract mandates — you know how to arrive, deliver and leave.
Our Ideal Candidate

You like walking into a running system and making it work better without rebuilding it first. You have the seniority to decide and the discipline not to over-reach — you know the difference between a decision that's yours and one that belongs to whoever comes back. And you'd rather leave a documented trail than a personal legacy.

How we'll talk:

we'll ask you about a mandate you took over from someone else — what you changed, what you deliberately left alone, and how the handback went.

Benefits
  • A competitive salary.
  • Responsibility and trust from day 1.
  • A Culture of equity and Inclusion where you are appreciated for the person you are.
Diversity & Inclusion

At ablefy, we embrace our differences, as they are our greatest strength. We recognize that everyone has a unique perspective based on their experiences, identities, and thought processes, and we strive to create an inclusive environment for all. Discrimination based on race, religion, color, national origin, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, marital status, disability status, or any other aspect that makes you unique is not tolerated at ablefy. We aim to make growth accessible to everyone!

We know that no candidate checks every single box, and that’s okay! If you’re excited about this role and think you can bring something valuable to our team, we encourage you to apply—even if you don’t meet every requirement. We’d love to hear from you!

AI at ablefy

As an AI-first company, we put intelligent technology at the heart of everything we do. AI is part of how we build, learn, and grow together. It helps us work smarter, move faster, and focus on creating real impact. We believe the strongest results come from combining thoughtful technology with curious, driven people — and we’re excited to shape what’s next, together.
