Humboldt Wedag GmbH, part of the KHD Group, seeks a technically skilled professional to lead construction planning for cement plant projects. You will coordinate with locals, supervise assembly and mechanical installation, support commissioning, and ensure thorough documentation and ITP compliance across international sites.

Travel up to 90% is required; a technical degree in mechanical engineering with strong organizational, intercultural and language skills is essential for success in this

Qualifikationen

• Completed technical degree or an additional foreman qualification.
• Profound knowledge of plant construction, especially for foreign assembly and international sites.
• Knowledge of welding technology and HSE / SCC.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills; willingness to travel worldwide (90%).

Aufgaben

• Plan and coordinate construction activities with local assembly companies, suppliers and customers.
• Supervise assembly and mechanical installation of systems and components.
• Support commissioning of plants and plant components with the site manager/commissioning engineer.
• Carry out plant inspections, maintenance, revisions and record keeping.
• Ensure compliance with ITPs and proper documentation.
• Prepare deviation reports and progress reports; assist in site organization and setup.
• Provide technical guidance to installation personnel and participate in progress meetings.

Your mission

• Construction planning and coordination in consultation with local assembly companies, suppliers and customer representatives
• Supervision of assembly and, if necessary, management of the mechanical assembly of systems/parts, machines and individual components
• Support with the commissioning of plants and plant components in cooperation with the site manager/commissioning engineer
• Carrying out plant inspections, maintenance, revisions, etc.
• Control of delivered machines and components and compilation of records of box opening
• Compliance with ITP's (Inspection Test Procedures) and documentation
• Carrying out handover tests (incl. performance and no-load tests) and preparing assembly-handover reports
• Preparation of deviation reports (incl. determination and implementation of minor measures) and progress reports
• Support in organizing and setting up the respective construction site
• Technical guidance of the installation personnel
• Regular participation in progress meetings with customers and contact persons on site as well as internal departments (incl. reporting)
• Conducting training courses and tutorials

Your profile

• A completed technical degree (e.g. in mechanical engineering) or a vocational training with an additional technical qualification (e.g. as a certified foreman)
• Profound knowledge of plant construction with regard to foreign assembly and international construction sites, preferably in cement technology
• Knowledge of welding technology and in-depth knowledge of HSE / SCC
• General commercial understanding, especially contractual basics
• Excellent organizational skills (time and task management, processes, personnel)
• Willingness and ability to work at great heights and in confined spaces
• Analytical thinking, structured way of working, intercultural competence and willingness to travel worldwide (90%)
• Fluent proficiency in written and spoken German and English
• Proficient in MS Office and common IT applications
