Zusammenfassung

Peoples Partnership is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Specialist for a 6-month Inside IR35 contract. You’ll provide 3rd line support and ensure SLAs across Azure, Active Directory, Office 365, Windows Server, VMware/Hyper‑V, SQL Server, networking and security.

You’ll design and maintain LAN/WAN, cloud environments, automate deployments with PowerShell and IaC, and contribute to disaster recovery and ITIL-aligned processes. Hybrid working with 2 days in Crawley office.

Qualifikationen

• Extensive 3rd line infrastructure support in ITIL environments.
• Strong expertise across Azure, AD, Office 365, Windows Server, VMware/Hyper‑V, SQL Server, networking and security.
• Ability to automate deployments using PowerShell, DevOps, IaC and deployment management tools.
• Experience in disaster recovery, business continuity and monitoring of critical apps.
• IT project delivery, mentoring and technical leadership with best-practice certifications.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Deliver high-quality IT infrastructure services and support to internal customers, ensuring excellent service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Provide 3rd line technical support and maintain the availability, capacity, and performance of network, server, storage, cloud, and business systems.
• Design, develop, monitor, and maintain IT infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, security, wireless, and cloud environments.
• Automate and optimise IT processes, deployments, virtual machine management, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) activities to improve efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with SLAs, KPIs, ITIL best practices, security standards, data protection requirements, and company policies.
• Produce resilient infrastructure designs, contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity planning, and support continuous service improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, suppliers, and IT teams while providing technical leadership, mentoring, communication, and out-of-hours support when required.

• Extensive experience providing 3rd line infrastructure and systems support within ITIL environments, ensuring reliable service delivery and adherence to SLAs and KPIs.
• Strong technical expertise across Azure, Active Directory, Office 365, Windows Server, VMware/Hyper‑V, SQL Server, networking, security, and enterprise infrastructure technologies.
• Proven ability to automate processes and deployments using PowerShell, DevOps practices, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and deployment management tools.
• Skilled in disaster recovery, business continuity planning, system architecture, backup and recovery, monitoring, and business‑critical application support.
• Experienced in IT project delivery, team mentoring, technical leadership, and driving continuous improvement through industry best practices and professional certifications.
