Kyndryl is looking for an Infrastructure/Cloud Architecture professional to design and guide cloud, Linux platform, container, and edge infrastructure for client software platforms.
The role focuses on cloud-edge engineering, Kubernetes, containers, and platform readiness, working with delivery teams to ensure scalable and reliable solutions.
At Kyndryl, we design, build, manage and modernize the mission‑critical technology systems that the world depends on every day. So why work at Kyndryl? We are always moving forward – always pushing ourselves to go further in our efforts to build a more equitable, inclusive world for our employees, our customers and our communities.
As an Infrastructure/Cloud Architecture professional at Kyndryl, this role designs and guides cloud, Linux platform, container, and edge infrastructure architecture for a Kyndryl client’s software engineering and product platform environment. This is a software‑platform architecture role focused on cloud‑edge engineering, Linux platforms, Kubernetes, containers, DevOps integration, and platform readiness rather than traditional server administration or data‑center operations.
Key responsibilities include designing cloud and platform architecture supporting engineering workloads, Linux platforms, containerized services, Kubernetes environments, DevOps pipelines, and product integration needs; supporting cloud implementation workstreams involving cloud architects, senior cloud engineers, platform engineers, DevOps engineers, technical leads, delivery leads, and project managers; providing guidance for scalability, reliability, automation, platform integration, infrastructure dependencies, operational readiness, and engineering enablement; collaborating with software, DevOps, testing, technical support, and delivery teams; and working within customer‑provided cloud platforms, infrastructure, environments, toolchains, licenses, access models, and governance frameworks.
Kyndryl currently does not require employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID‑19. However, if you are hired to work at a client, customer, or partner location, you may be required to show proof of vaccination to align with their respective COVID‑19 vaccination policies. Those who believe they are eligible may apply for a medical or religious accommodation prior to the start of employment.
You’re good at what you do and possess the required experience to prove it. However, equally as important – you have a growth mindset; keen to drive your own personal and professional development. You are customer‑focused – someone who prioritizes customer success in their work. And finally, you’re open and borderless – naturally inclusive in how you work with others.
The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is $115,080 to $218,520 based on a full‑time schedule.
