Dometic is seeking an Information Architect / DevOps (Technical Documentation) to join our Global Tech Docs team in Emsdetten. The role focuses on shaping the content architecture, publishing infrastructure, and Docs-as-Code workflows to streamline documentation processes.

You will maintain and evolve the XML-based documentation toolchain, improve reuse strategies, and collaborate with technical writers and stakeholders to raise quality and efficiency while ensuring robust CI/CD pipelines and

Qualifikationen

• Experience with Docs-as-Code environments.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Familiarity with XML transformation and publishing processes.
• Understanding of content reuse strategies and information architecture principles.
• Experience supporting technical documentation teams.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• German language skills are an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Oxygen XML Editor.
• Experience with DITA XML and structured authoring concepts.
• Good understanding of Git version control.
• Experience working with GitHub repositories and workflows.

Aufgaben

• Ensure that reusable DITA topics, content modules, and information elements remain structured, consistent, and fit for reuse.
• Maintain and improve the information architecture of our technical documentation ecosystem.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve GitHub-based automation and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure GitHub workers, build processes, and publishing workflows run successfully and reliably.

• Maintain documentation standards, templates, and content governance practices.

About The Position

At Dometic, we are transforming technical documentation through a modern Docs-as-Code approach. We are looking for an Information Architect / DevOps Specialist to join our Technical Documentation team in Emsdetten and help maintain and evolve our content architecture, documentation toolchain, and publishing infrastructure.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of structured content, XML authoring technologies, automation, and DevOps practices.

Your Responsibilities
