Job summary

Otis Worldwide Corporation is seeking an Infor ERP Specialist focused on implementing, configuring, and optimizing Baan/Infor LN across departments in a Berlin-based role. You will translate business needs into ERP solutions and manage integrations, data migrations, and training for go-lives.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years' experience with Baan4/5 or Infor LN, strong SQL skills, and a solid grasp of business processes in finance or manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Admin, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years’ experience with Baan4/5 or Infor LN.
• Strong knowledge of business processes in Finance, Projects, Services, or Manufacturing.
• SQL DB know-how.
• Baan programming knowledge; ability to read programs.
• Exchange schemes and PVRC tools understanding.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in an international environment.
• Experience in project management is a plus.

Responsibilities

**Infor ERP Specialist** Role Overview: Implement, support and optimize Otis Baan/Infor ERP systems. This role requires a deep understanding of business processes and how the ERP system can be leveraged to improve efficiency. The ERP Specialist will work closely with various departments to understand their needs and translate them into effective solutions. The candidate will join the Baan/Infor EMEA team. On a typical day you will:* Implementation & Configuration: Participate in ERP implementations, including requirements gathering, system configuration, data migration, user training, and go-live support.* Support: Provide ongoing support to end-users, troubleshooting issues, and resolving problems related to the ERP system. Perform regular system maintenance tasks and identify areas for optimization.* Business Process Analysis: Identify opportunities for improvement through the use of the ERP system. Work with different departments to understand their requirements and translate them into effective solutions within the ERP system.* System Integrations: Manage integrations between the ERP system and other applications. Ensure data integrity and seamless data flow between systems.* Compliance & Security: Ensure the ERP system complies with relevant Otis regulations and security policies.* Project Management: May be involved in managing small to medium-sized projects related to the ERP system.What You Will Need to be Successful:* Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.* Proven experience of minimum 5 years, in implementing, maintaining, and supporting Baan4, Baan5 or Infor LN.* Strong understanding of business processes preferably in Finance or Project, Service, Manufacturing.* DB know-how including SQL.* Baan programming know-how, at least able to read programs. In addition, Exchange schemes and Tools, including pVRC understanding.* Fluent English. German is a plus.* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical users, in an international environment.* Experience in project management is a plus.
