Job summary

Airbus Operations GmbH in Hamburg is seeking an Industrial Tolerancing and Capability Engineer to join the Industrial Architecture team. You will perform tolerancing analysis across production systems and participate in both R&T and industrial build concept selection for future projects.

The role requires engineering education, experience in aeronautical/industrial domains, and proficiency with tolerancing tools and ISO regulations.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree (Bachelor or Master).
• Several years of experience in Aeronautical, Automotive, Naval or similar.
• Knowledge of Tolerancing ISO regulation.
• Knowledge of tolerancing simulation and authoring tools: MecaMaster, 3DCS, Catia V5, Polyworks and/or 3DX.
• Fluent English in speaking and writing.

• Ensure Product tolerances are compatible with Industrial system capabilities

Job Description: In order to support the Industrial Architecture team, Airbus is looking for an Industrial Tolerancing and Capability Engineer (d/f/m). You will be part of a team developing Industrial Tolerancing analysis of current and future industrial production systems. As part of the Industrial tolerancing team within Airbus Commercial business, you will be involved in a diverse type of projects covering from elementary parts to Final Assembly lines covering all related activities of Industrial tolerancing domain aiming at delivering best in class analysing ensuring product requirements meet industrial system capabilities.

Your location: You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Your tasks and responsibilities

Desired skills and qualifications

• Engineering education Bachelor or/and Master Degree
• Several years of experience on Aeronautical Industry, Automotive, Naval or similar
• Knowledge of Tolerancing ISO regulation
• Knowledge of Tolerancing simulation and authoring tools: MecaMaster, 3DCS, Polyworks, Catiav5 and/or 3DX
• Demonstrated background on product and/or Industrial Tolerancing
• Experience on Industrial system design is a plus
• Flexibility to work in a wide variety of projects from R&T to support to production
• Innovation, out of the box thinking, ability to work in a multicultural environment within a multifunctional team
• Fluent english skills in spoken and written
