Job summary

UMT United Logistics GmbH is seeking a logistics professional to design and optimize import consolidated container flows from Asia to Europe, focusing on on-time delivery and quality. You will coordinate transports from shipment to final delivery, keeping customers informed and ensuring smooth handoffs with agents, shipping lines, and service providers.

Design logistics solutions that set the pace for international supply chains.

• You are responsible for the operational handling of our import consolidated container traffic (LCL) from Asia to Europe and ensure a smooth process along the entire transport chain
• You coordinate the transports from shipment to final delivery, always keeping deadlines, quality and customer satisfaction in view
• As the central point of contact, you are in close communication with our international customers, agents, shipping lines, service providers and internal interfaces
• You manage and monitor the complete handling of our DAP shipments as well as the associated customs processes

Your profile

• You have successfully completed vocational training as a management assistant (m/f/d) for freight forwarding and logistics services or have a comparable qualification
• You have experience in import ocean freight and ideally are also familiar with the consolidated container business (LCL/NVOCC)
• You think proactively and have an independent and goal-oriented way of working
• Good communication skills in German and English also set you apart
