Job Description
We are a leading global medical technology company dedicated to advancing health. We are seeking a Technical Product Specialist.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a working understanding of products, related technologies (hardware and software) and the application process.
- Execute assigned deliverables from the application plan, conducting necessary meetings with customers both on‑site and remotely.
- Coordinate with the Project Management Office and perform all project phases, including equipment/software installation and customer training.
- Provide general training on products and technologies.
- Collaborate with the team to integrate basic products/services with customer systems and processes.
- Deliver high‑level technical support to existing customers in the assigned region, both on‑site and remote.
- Perform hardware and software repair activities on customers’ sites.
- Conduct preventive maintenance activities on customers’ sites.
- Compile and report information, reviewing work to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Build awareness of the change process and related tools, recognizing the impact on peers and self.
Qualifications
- Technical/IT background with experience in virtual platforms and networking systems.
- Experience with project delivery using SDLC (System Development Life Cycle).
- Deep technical knowledge and experience supporting proprietary and standard applications.
- Willingness to travel up to 80% within the assigned region, and occasional support in Central Europe.
- Valid driving licence.
- Experience organizing and performing customer trainings.
- German language proficiency mandatory; additional languages a bonus.
- Strong social skills.
- Medical background considered a plus.
Location
- Primary work location: Heidelberg, Tullastrasse, Germany.
- Additional locations may be considered.
Compensation
- Minimum annual gross salary: €60000 (39‑hour week).
- Salary range: €53200 – €81100 per annum (may vary by role, experience and location).
- Additional compensation may be provided.
