The position is to be filled in the home office in Germany (Düsseldorf/Dortmund area is preferred).
We are searching for an l Implementation Consultant to join our client's team and lead post-sale technical implementations, system configurations, and data mapping for complex supply chain solutions. Operating remotely in Germany (preferably near the Düsseldorf or Dortmund area), you will serve as a key technical liaison - analyzing client operational needs, executing ERP integrations, and resolving ongoing customer change events.
Key responsibilities:
- Performing post-sale initial technical implementation of technology products
- Executing installation, upgrades, testing, and system configuration to complete implementation projects
- Consulting with clients to analyze and verify operational needs and to understand their business objectives and goals
- Tracking the progress of implementation projects, ensuring deadlines are met and scheduling issues are resolved
- Keeping customers and other stakeholders informed of project progress
- Applying, testing, and reconfiguring data rules to produce the required results
- Working under moderate supervision, with some latitude for independent judgment
- Facilitating problem research, isolation, diagnosis, resolution, and follow-up for customer change events
- Contributing to developing standardized solutions for customers
- Escalating events appropriately when they fall outside your scope
- Owning support instances that require partner involvement, acting as the escalation point between the client and partner network
- Working directly with third parties, consultants, VARs, and adapter or application providers
- Taking on complex work of high importance to the organization
- Maintaining deep industry-specific business knowledge, staying current with emerging products and technical updates
You should have the following requirements for the Implementation Consultant role:
- A bachelor's degree with various years of related experience or equivalent practical experience
- Fluent German and English
- ERP knowledge, good communicator, problem solver
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage several projects concurrently
- The ability to apply, test, and reconfigure data rules to produce the intended result
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision while taking initiative and setting priorities in a demanding, fast-paced environment
- Strong relationship-building skills, including over the phone
- Demonstrated organization and prioritisation skills, with the ability to handle multiple concurrent activities
