HVAC

• Ensure the safe, reliable, and energy-efficient operation of all HVAC-R systems across the assigned fleet (up to 6 vessels)
• Act as the fleet's technical focal point for HVAC-R matters, collaborating with vessel crews, shipyards, suppliers, and shore-based teams
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee HVAC-R maintenance, repairs, technical modifications, and performance improvements across the fleet
• Support vessel inspections, technical assessments, and Dry Dock activities, including the execution of HVAC-R projects and upgrades
• Promote high standards of safety, environmental compliance, and operational excellence throughout the fleet
• Manage HVAC-R maintenance data, spare parts, procedures, and technical documentation to ensure fleet readiness and continuous improvement
• Travel internationally for vessel visits, inspections, and project support (approximately 5–20%)
• Degree in HVAC, Refrigeration, Marine Engineering, Ship Operation, Shipbuilding, or comparable technical field
• Several years of hands‑on experience with HVAC-R systems in a maritime environment, ideally on cruise ships, ferries, or yachts
• Strong knowledge of HVAC-R maintenance, troubleshooting, and system performance optimization
• Experience supporting technical projects, vessel upgrades, refits, or Dry Dock activities is highly desirable
• Experience coordinating contractors, suppliers, vessel crews, and small technical project teams
• Experience with maintenance management systems (Infoship, Amos) and MS Office is a plus
• Excellent English (written and spoken). German/Italian is a plus
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive work style with a strong focus on safety, environmental protection, and continuous improvement
