Johnson Matthey Catalysts (Germany) GmbH in Redwitz sucht eine/n HSEQ Manager/in. Sie tragen die Verantwortung für Gesundheit, Sicherheit, Qualität und Umwelt und gestalten gemeinsam mit Ihrem Team die HSQE-Kultur am Standort.

Sie führen Audits, Risikoanalysen und KPIs durch, entwickeln Managementsysteme weiter und berichten regelmäßig über Ergebnisse. Führungsqualitäten, gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse sowie Erfahrung in einem industriellen Umfeld sind erforderlich.

Qualifications

• Führungserfahrung in einer vergleichbaren HSQE-Rolle in Industrie/Produktion.
• Fundierte Kenntnisse im Arbeits-, Umwelt- und Qualitätsmanagement.
• Sicherer Umgang mit relevanten nationalen/internationalen Standards und Vorschriften.

Responsibilities

• Verantwortung für HSQE-Bereich und Weiterentwicklung von Managementsystemen.
• Führung und Entwicklung der Teams im Gesundheits- und Sicherheitsbereich, Labor und Qualitätsmanagement.
• Definition von KPIs, Berichterstattung und Förderung einer nachhaltigen HSQE-Kultur.
• Durchführung von Audits, Inspektionen und Risikobewertungen sowie Umsetzung von Verbesserungsmaßnahmen.

The role:

• Take overall responsibility for the areas of Health, Safety, Quality & Environment (HSQE) and drive the continuous development of our management systems, standards, and processes.
• In this responsible leadership position, you will actively shape the safety, health, quality, and environmental culture of our site and make a significant contribution to the company's sustainable success.
• Lead and develop the teams within Occupational Health Services, EHS (Environment, Health & Safety), the Laboratory, and Quality Management, fostering a high-performing and future-oriented organisation.
• Develop the HSQE strategy and ensure its successful implementation in line with company objectives.
• Define relevant KPIs, monitor performance against targets, and provide regular reporting.
• Strengthen a sustainable safety, health, quality, and environmental culture and promote HSQE awareness throughout the company.
• Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and internal requirements relating to health and safety, environmental management, and quality standards.
• Take responsibility for audits, inspections, risk assessments, and the implementation of effective preventive and improvement measures

Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:

• A degree in Engineering, Natural Sciences, Environmental Management, Quality Management, or a similar qualification forms the foundation of your profile.
• Several years of leadership experience in a comparable HSQE role within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong expertise in occupational health and safety, environmental management, quality management, and occupational health management.
• Proven experience in developing, enhancing, and managing integrated management systems.
• Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and national/international standards, with the ability to apply them in a practical business environment.
• An inspiring leader who can motivate employees, successfully manage change, and encourage cross-functional collaboration.
• Fluent communication skills in both German and English, written and spoken.
