A major European financial institution in Frankfurt is looking for an HR Solutions Expert to oversee pension arrangements and perform quantitative analysis. The ideal candidate will have a master's degree in actuarial science or mathematics, along with significant experience in pension consulting. Excellent analytical, drafting, and presentation skills are essential. The institution fosters diversity and encourages applications from all backgrounds.
You will be part of the Pensions and Insurances team in the Employee Services Division of the Directorate General Human Resources. Our Directorate General has more than 100 professionals providing services to over 4,000 employees.
The Employee Services Division comprises over 50 staff, delivering integrated people solutions that empower ECB employees and foster engagement. The Division is responsible for policies, processes, tools and operations related to topics such as working conditions, contracts, payroll, health and well‑being, the ECB’s pension funds, health insurance, and the social integration of staff and their families.
In your role as HR Solutions Expert, you will be part of the team responsible for the administration of the ECB’s pension arrangements. You will work with a wide variety of stakeholders, including ECB pension committees and decision‑making bodies. We are seeking an expert with strong mathematical and actuarial knowledge to work on the management, valuation and strategic development of the ECB’s pension arrangements.

The contract offered will be fixed‑term, the appointment being for 24 months as of the exact starting date of the selected person.
Temporary appointments may be extended or made permanent subject to organisational needs and budgetary constraints. This may result in a staff member with a non‑convertible fixed‑term contract being offered a convertible contract in accordance with the ECB Conditions of Employment.
