Webfleet in Leipzig is hiring an HR Operations Specialist for a 1-year term within the People Operations and Payroll team. You will manage HR admin, payroll coordination with our external provider, and act as the first contact for employees in Germany, South Africa and another European country.

The role requires strong English and German skills, Excel proficiency, and a proactive, collaborative approach to drive data quality and continuous improvement in HR processes.

Here at Webfleet, we are looking for a motivated HR Operations Specialist in the HR team of 12, composed of Payroll Specialists, HR generalists, HRBPs and Talent Acquisition Specialists. You will be working within the People Operations and Payroll team in Leipzig. This is a temporary position for a period of 1 year.

With this 1 year contract, you will:

• Execution of HR administration processes including on/offboarding, data changes, absence management, benefits and more.
• Provide timely input to the monthly payroll and collaboration with our external payroll provider to ensure a smooth payroll process.
• Be the first point of contact for the employees within the scope (Germany, South Africa and another European country), build relationships and provide an outstanding service experience.
• Accurately update our HR system and provide reports to stakeholders while ensuring highest data quality.
• Streamline and continuously improve internal procedures and processes through the adoption of AI-driven solutions and process automation.

• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel, with valuable experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot and Claude.
