Overview

Job Title: HR Manager (Part-Time – 2 Days/Week)

Location: Germany (Onsite/Hybrid)

Employment Type: Part-Time

About The Role: We are seeking a part-time HR Manager based in Germany to oversee and support HR operations for our employees in the region. The role requires working 2 days per week with flexibility to handle critical matters as needed. The HR Manager will act as the primary point of contact for employees in Germany and coordinate with the global HR team.

Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day HR operations for Germany-based employees.
  • Act as the first point of contact for employee queries and concerns.
  • Oversee local employment contracts, onboarding, and exit formalities.
  • Ensure compliance with German labor laws, regulations, and HR practices.
  • Support payroll coordination with external payroll providers.
  • Maintain employee records in alignment with GDPR and company policies.
  • Facilitate performance management, employee engagement, and grievance handling.
  • Partner with global HR and management teams to align local HR practices with company objectives.
  • Assist in recruitment activities (screening, interviews, local hiring compliance).
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an HR Manager/HR Business Partner in Germany.
  • Strong knowledge of German labor law and HR compliance.
  • Fluency in German and English (written and spoken) is a must.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
  • Flexibility to work 2 days a week with availability for urgent HR issues when required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in working with international/global organizations.
  • Familiarity with payroll and benefits administration in Germany.
  • HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM, or equivalent) is an advantage.
