We, at Leggett & Platt Inc., are searching for a HR Generalist within our HR team to help support our Automotive business. In this role, you will contribute to attainment of HR objectives through effective implementation and execution of employment activities, launch the HR programs and provide business support to departments.
As a HR Generalist, you will :
- Provides support in assessing the organization set-up in order to achieve better effectiveness and efficiency, to meet the enterprise business priorities and the HR strategic agenda’s requirements for the local organization
- Promotes, implements, communicates activities, policies regulations and standards related to occupational, health and safety issues for blue and white collars
- Compensation & Benefits, Payroll : Responsible for payroll report verification and preparation of payroll related reports; works with Finance team to prepare cost center related analysis report; acts as HR Admin in the HRIS; maintains correct database and ensures employee data accuracy; supports preparation of headcount and turnover analysis report; ensures compensation adjustments are recorded properly.
- Employee Relationship : handles employee grievance and labor issues with business leaders and HR teams. Deals with labor arbitration and lawsuits. Provides labor law and regulation advice to HR and management teams. Keeps monitoring the change of labor law & regulations, and provides in time introduction to HR and management team for risk alert and best practices.
- Provides advisory to business line managers to facilitate achievement of established business objectives throughout a proper people management.
- Effectively communicates to employees on main relevant topics regarding HR processes, main organizational changes, etc.
- Recruits, develops and retains high-performing and talented workforce for the organization.
- Identifies training and development needs through performance management system outcomes, as well as competencies and leadership behaviors evaluations
To be successful, you'll need :
- University degree in business administration with focus on human resources or equivalent
- 1-3 years of proven work experience
- Analytical and goal oriented
- Thorough knowledge of labor legislation
- Strong administrative skills and high attention to detail
- Ability to build long term relationships and put effort in earning trust
- Communication skills
- Fluent in German and English
