Tipico in Karlsruhe seeks an HR Business Partner to collaborate with Services and Digital units on employee relations and people management.

You will coach managers, drive HR strategy, manage employee relations, and contribute to talent management, learning & development, and rewards. English required; German helpful. Relocation offered.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience with 3 years in HRBP or similar role.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, HR, or equivalent.
• Experience in Tech/Online/iGaming is a strong plus and multinational environments are preferred.
• Strong data, analytics, and HR systems skills to support decision making.

Job Description

Your daily pitch

The HR Business Partner will join the HRTeam to collaboratewith the stakeholders across the Services, and Digital units in all the various aspectsof employee relations andpeople management. We emphasize on building close relationships with people managers, understanding the business direction and needs, and coaching and mentoring to ensure the best approach.

Your playing field

• You will collaborate closely with the Lead HR Business Partner, HR Team, and leadership team to deliverand implement the People and Organisation strategy across Tipico.
• You build strong partnerships with people managersto execute HR strategies, policies, and practices with a solution-focused mindset and promote our Tipico leadership standards and our core values.
• You manage employee relations cases, supporting managers and employees to mitigate risk for the business and ensure that best-practice HR is being adopted.
• You support and coach management and leadership in resolving people matters and in applying talent management, L&D, and rewards tools for effective management, engagement, and retention of employees.
• You love data - Support proactively driving high-quality employee data and analytics to ensure valuable input for business decisions.
• You contribute directly to your pillar recruitment initiatives, working closely with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure the right talent is hired in a timely manner.
• You will lead and contribute to projects within the HR Roadmap to continuously add value to the business.
• You have a hands-on mentality - Support the HR department with any administrative matters as and when required.

Qualifications

Which skills should you bring to the pitch.

• Work Experience.You bring at least 5 years of progressive HR experience, including 3 years in an HR Business Partner or similar role, with a proven track record ofadvising senior leaders, managing complex stakeholder relationships, and influencing people decisions across a broad range of HR topics.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree.In Business Administration, HR Management, or equivalent qualification.
• Industry experience.Experience in Tech, Online, or iGaming industries is a strong plus. You’re comfortable working in dynamic, multinational environments where priorities can move quickly.
• Hard-skilled.You’re confident working with HR systems, employee data, and analytics, using insights to support decision-making. Experience contributing to HR projects or initiatives is an added advantage.
• Coaching Mindset.You enjoy supporting and mentoring managers, helping them grow into confident and effective people leaders - something that is a key focus at Tipico.
• Languages.English is essential as it’s our company language. German is also important since you will be based in our German office, and would help you connect even more closely with parts of the business.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.Working under pressure and dealing with uncertainty and fast-changing circumstances, taking appropriate actions.
