Tipico, Germany's leading sports betting provider, is seeking an HR Business Partner (m/f/x) to join our Karlsruhe team. You will partner with leaders across services and digital units on employee relations, people management, and talent initiatives.

You will coach managers, drive HR data analytics, and support recruitment, learning, and rewards programs. Relocation may be available for the right candidate, in a dynamic multinational setting.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including 3+ years as HR Business Partner or similar.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Business Administration, HR Management, or equivalent.
• Experience in Tech, Online, or iGaming is a plus and comfortable in multinational environments.
• Strong HR systems, data handling, and analytics to support decision-making.
• Coaching mindset to develop managers into effective leaders.
• Fluent English; German language skills beneficial for the Karlsruhe office.

• Collaborate with Lead HR Business Partner, HR Team, and leadership to implement People and Organisation strategy across Tipico.
• Build partnerships with people managers to execute HR strategies, policies and practices.
• Manage employee relations cases and mitigate risks while applying best-practice HR.
• Coach management in resolving people issues and applying talent management, L&D, and rewards tools.
• Drive high-quality employee data and analytics to inform business decisions.
• Contribute to recruitment initiatives with Talent Acquisition to hire the right talent timely.
• Lead and contribute to HR Roadmap projects to add value to the business.
• Provide hands-on support to HR department on administrative matters.

Your daily pitch

The HR Business Partner will join the HR Team to collaborate with the stakeholders across the Services, and Digital units in all the various aspects of employee relations and people management. We emphasize on building close relationships with people managers, understanding the business direction and needs, and coaching and mentoring to ensure the best approach.

Your playing field

• You will collaborate closely with the Lead HR Business Partner, HR Team, and leadership team to deliver and implement the People and Organisation strategy across Tipico.
• You build strong partnerships with people managers to execute HR strategies, policies, and practices with a solution-focused mindset and promote our Tipico leadership standards and our core values.
• You manage employee relations cases, supporting managers and employees to mitigate risk for the business and ensure that best-practice HR is being adopted.
• You support and coach management and leadership in resolving people matters and in applying talent management, L&D, and rewards tools for effective management, engagement, and retention of employees.
• You love data - Support proactively driving high-quality employee data and analytics to ensure valuable input for business decisions.
• You contribute directly to your pillar recruitment initiatives, working closely with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure the right talent is hired in a timely manner.
• You will lead and contribute to projects within the HR Roadmap to continuously add value to the business.
• You have a hands-on mentality - Support the HR department with any administrative matters as and when required.

Which skills should you bring to the pitch.

• Work Experience. You bring at least 5 years of progressive HR experience, including 3 years in an HR Business Partner or similar role, with a proven track record of advising senior leaders, managing complex stakeholder relationships, and influencing people decisions across a broad range of HR topics.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree. In Business Administration, HR Management, or equivalent qualification.
• Industry experience. Experience in Tech, Online, or iGaming industries is a strong plus. You’re comfortable working in dynamic, multinational environments where priorities can move quickly.
• Hard-skilled. You’re confident working with HR systems, employee data, and analytics, using insights to support decision-making. Experience contributing to HR projects or initiatives is an added advantage.
• Coaching Mindset. You enjoy supporting and mentoring managers, helping them grow into confident and effective people leaders - something that is a key focus at Tipico.
• Languages. English is essential as it’s our company language. German is also important since you will be based in our German office, and would help you connect even more closely with parts of the business.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills. Working under pressure and dealing with uncertainty and fast-changing circumstances, taking appropriate actions.
• Self-starter attitude. You take initiative, work proactively, and don’t wait to be told what needs to be done.
