Zusammenfassung

A leading manufacturer of skincare and hygiene products is seeking a Senior Associate, Human Resources. In this HR advisory role, you will provide timely support across various HR functions while working closely with DACH businesses. Ideal candidates will be fluent in English and German, with experience working with German Works Councils. The role requires excellent relationship-building skills and the ability to manage recruitment, employee development, and compliance with regulations.

  • Support recruitment needs, including job descriptions and onboarding.
  • Assist in restructuring activities while meeting legal requirements.
  • Contribute to employee development through training and performance management.
  • Implement absence management procedures and conduct necessary meetings.
  • Collaborate with Learning & Development for training programs.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and data in HRIS system.
  • Liaise with payroll teams for employee data management.
  • Build strong business relationships for proactive HR support.

Senior Associate, Human Resources

About the Role :

As HR Advisor, you will work closely with all DACH businesses and the HR Manager to deliver timely and effective HR support across a range of people‑related matters. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance with employment legislation and contribute to the development and implementation of HR initiatives aligned with both DACH and Group HR strategies. Success in this role requires building strong, trusted relationships across the business, balancing day‑to‑day operational needs with proactive, strategic HR activities.

Responsibilities :
  • Partner with DACH businesses to support recruitment needs, including job descriptions, agency coordination, selection processes, and onboarding.
  • Support restructuring activities by helping assess business needs, explore options, and implement changes in line with legal requirements.
  • Contribute to employee development through induction, training, performance management, and cross‑functional growth opportunities.
  • Implement absence management procedures, including conducting meetings, home visits, and coordinating return‑to‑work plans.
  • Collaborate with the Learning & Development team to support the design and delivery of internal and external training programs.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure timely data entry into the HRIS system.
  • Liaise with payroll teams to ensure correct and timely transfer of employee data.
  • Build strong relationships across the business to deliver proactive and responsive HR support.
Experience you'll bring :
  • Fluent in both English & German
  • Previous experience of working with German Works Councils
  • Experience of providing high quality HR support to field / remotely based teams
