As a HR Adviser, you'll be the first point of contact for managers, providing timely and pragmatic advice on a range of people matters including recruitment, attendance management, policy queries and changes to working arrangements. Alongside delivering a responsive HR advice service, you'll play a key role in maintaining workforce data, producing management information and identifying trends that support effective decision-making.
You'll work closely with managers across the organisation to ensure accurate establishment records, monitor workforce metrics, analyse HR data and support projects that contribute to service improvement and organisational priorities.

At North Somerset Council, we offer a hybrid working environment based on four distinct work styles. Depending on the role and personal circumstances, you will fall into one of these categories.
