Job summary

Haralson Nursing and Rehab is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Aide to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff. The role focuses on daily cleaning and sanitation across the facility, with morning shifts from 7am to 3pm and a weekend requirement.

You will follow infection control policies and universal precautions, stock housekeeping areas, and report issues to the supervisor while presenting a courteous, professional demeanor at all times.

Responsibilities

• The housekeeper is the focal point of our environmental service staff. He/she is responsible for the cleaning and sanitation of the facility on a daily basis.
• Must be able to perform the necessary duties in the daily routine cleaning of resident rooms
• Must be able to perform the necessary duties for the monly carbolization cleaning of residents rooms
• Follow all safet procedures, infection control policies, and universal precautions to ensure the health and welfar of residents, staff and visitors
• Follow propper procedures for stocking housekeeping carts and closets
• All housekeepers must report to work in assigned uniform as deemed by the facility
• All housekeepers must report problems, concerns and maintenance issues to the supervisor
• All housekeepers must act in a courteous, professional, and apporpriate manner at all times

Available Hours: 7am-3pm with weekend requirement
