Your profile

• 10 years of experience in software development, 3+ years in a tech leadership role (for instance CTO, Head of Engineering, Lead Developer)
• Proven success with scaling platform based products in high growth environments
• Strong grasp of modern cloud infrastructure (Azure), microservices and APIs
• Demonstrated ability to deliver quickly without compromising code quality or stability
• Experience with software security, DevOps and performance monitoring
• Excellent leadership, strategic thinking and engineering skills
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• Excellent English language skills and Dutch language skills is a plus

About the role

Your mission as Head of Technology, you will lead the development, execution and scaling of our technology vision. This is a unique opportunity to shape the core architecture and technical roadmap of our platform. You will inspire and grow our software engineering and DevOps teams and work closely with our Head of Product and his team. You will put everything in place to ensure that our platform and tech-stack support the needs of our customers and partners.

• Collaborate closely with the CTO of Logicall Group to ensure alignment in strategy and architecture

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company’s technology strategy and roadmap in alignment with business goals
• Lead and grow our software engineering and DevOps teams
• Oversee the architecture, development and maintenance of our platform
• Ensure system scalability, reliability and security
• Ensure data governance and compliance
• Establish strong engineering processes, continuous CI/CD pipelines and agile methodologies
• Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve performance and customer experience
• Proactively manage discussions around “buy or build” decisions
• Organize internal stakeholder management within Shipcloud and Logicall Group
