Head of Supplier Management (all genders)

The Purchasing unit is the interface to the supplier market and is thus responsible for a large part of the value creation. The responsibilities range from raw material purchasing to supplier management and plant purchasing to value engineering.
Responsibilities:
- Worldwide leading of the supplier management team to monitor and ensure the structured purchase parts management process (gate process) for defined purchase part scopes
- Steer and develop the Supplier Management process for Batterie cell components. Secure and monitor the Supplier Management process
- Lead and monitor the Supplier Audits to evaluate supplier capability (Q-Audit, POT, QTR) resulting in a Q-Rating as a basis for supplier nomination.
- Steer and execute industrialization concept reviews and plausibility checks of supplier timelines. Asses robustness and feasibility of project timelines.
- Monitor specific Industrialization milestones under initiation of correction measurements in case of deviation.
- Secure the evaluation and release of the production process of the supplier using the proof of serial production capability.
- Support at ad hoc operations at supplier site, equipment and tooling manufacturer to secure the capacity needs.
- Implementation of the contents of the PowerCo procurement strategy within the framework of a target system and support in the implementation of the programs and methods
- Worldwide steering of external service provider for monitoring of infrastructure, banking and industrialization measurements at the PowerCo suppliers.

Requirements:
- Completed technical/university studies in the field of chemistry, process engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or similar
- Experience in the field of quality assurance in the chemical and/or automotive sector
- Relevant experience in the field of manufacturing processes in chem. Industry and/or automotive sector
- Basic experience of automotive manufacturing process and requirements
- Experience in the field of auditing and qualification of industrial products and processes
- Relevant experience in trouble-shooting in the event of disruptions in the industrial production process
- Several years of experience in the field of personnel management
- Business German and English fluently
What Else Can You Bring:
- Training as an auditor (VDA 6.3 and/or IATF16949)
- Professional experience in the field of battery cell production or associated supplier area
