Job summary

q.beyond AG is seeking a Head of SAP Utilities (m/f/d) to establish and grow a dedicated SAP Utilities practice across multiple locations, including Oberhausen. You will lead functional, organizational and commercial development, shape strategy, build teams, and expand services in the SAP Utilities domain.

You will collaborate with an established SAP organization and drive new business opportunities, delivering complex customer projects while ensuring sustainable service delivery and market

Qualifications

• Several years of leadership experience in a practice leadership, department management, or comparable role.
• In-depth knowledge of the processes and challenges of the energy and utilities sector.
• Experience in building teams, business units, or consulting practices.
• Strong entrepreneurial mindset and strategic vision.
• Experience in business development and customer relationship management.
• Confident appearance, excellent communication skills, and strong leadership capabilities.
• German language skills at C1 level and English language skills at B2 level.

Responsibilities

• Establish and strategically develop a new SAP Utilities practice at q.beyond
• Take responsibility for the functional, organizational, and commercial development of the practice
• Develop and implement a forward-looking SAP Utilities strategy
• Build and further develop teams, structures, and capabilities
• Shape and expand the service portfolio within the SAP Utilities environment
• Develop existing customer relationships and identify and acquire new business opportunities
• Take responsibility for the successful delivery of customer projects and the further development of delivery structures
• Work closely with the established SAP organization, comprising around 300 colleagues
• Represent the practice towards customers, partners, and the market

YOUR TASKS:

• Establish and strategically develop a new SAP Utilities practice at q.beyond
• Take responsibility for the functional, organizational, and commercial development of the practice

• Several years of experience in the SAP Utilities environment, ideally with SAP IS-U and/or SAP S/4HANA Utilities
