Zusammenfassung

Bees & Bears is seeking a Head of Risk to lead and stabilize our risk organization during rapid growth. You will build and own the risk function, manage a growing credit portfolio, and establish scalable processes and a data-driven culture that supports sustainable expansion.

This is a hands-on leadership role reporting to the founder. You will shape risk strategy, develop a high-performing team, and balance growth with controlled risk in a climate fintech context.

We work closely with installers of climate hardware such as solar systems, energy storage, and heat pumps — enabling their customers to finance installations easily through monthly installments. Our platform provides the technical and financial foundation to make this happen. In doing so, we’re actively accelerating the energy transition — for households, for our partners, and for the planet.

We’ve recently secured €500 million in funding commitments to green 25,000 households over the next two years. Prior to that, we raised two funding rounds backed by several renowned VCs — and we’ve been growing rapidly ever since.

Your Impact

We are looking for a Head of Risk to lead and stabilize our risk organization during a phase of rapid growth. This role replaces our interim leadership and is critical for building a long-term, scalable risk function that enables sustainable growth. You will lead a growing team, manage a rapidly expanding credit portfolio, and build the processes, systems, and culture required for scale. This is not a maintenance role.This is a build-and-lead role. You will work directly with the founder and leadership team and have full ownership of the risk function.
