SSA Group is seeking a Head of Projects to lead the safe, compliant delivery of capital asset upgrade and refurbishment programmes in the DACH region, based in Frankfurt. You will partner with facilities management as an internal client and own the regional P&L, driving revenue growth with existing contracts and new clients.

The role requires a minimum of 10 years in project delivery, including leadership experience, and solid German and English language skills.

Jobbeschreibung

The Head of Projects leads the safe, compliant and commercially successful delivery of capital asset upgrade, refurbishment and replacement projects across the DACH region, much of it within live, 24/7 data centre and critical environments. Working closely with the facilities management organisation as an internal client, the Head of Projects owns the regional P&L, grows the project pipeline, and acts as the recognised face of the project team in Germany.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead multi-discipline delivery of modernisation, refurbishment, asset replacement and upgrade projects across Mechanical, Electrical, Civil and ICT infrastructure
• Deliver complex projects safely, on time, to budget and to a high standard, including works in energised critical environments
• Own the regional projects P&L, including budgeting, forecasting and financial oversight
• Grow revenue by mining existing maintenance-contract opportunities and introducing new clients
• Build and maintain a strong network of clients, consultants and contractors
• Recruit, develop and scale a high-performing team of project professionals (one Project Manager currently in place)
• Identify and manage technical, commercial, statutory and health & safety risk on every project

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years' project delivery experience, including at least 4 years in a Senior Project Manager or team leadership role
• Track record across modernisation, refurbishment, asset replacement and upgrade programmes spanning M&E, civil and ICT
• Strong asset management background covering upgrade and replacement programmes
• Demonstrated people leadership, with budget and P&L responsibility
• Solid financial acumen and project financial oversight
• Established network of clients, consultants and contractors
• Good German and English
• Comfortable working close to the operational side of the business, treating the FM team as a collaborative internal client

Package

• Base salary: approx €120,000 depending on experience
• 16% annual bonus
