SAP Fioneer in Germany is seeking a senior Banking Transformation Lead to drive end-to-end transformation programs for major banking clients, defining strategic roadmaps and delivering measurable value.

You will engage with C-level executives, coordinate cross-functional teams across technology, finance and operations, ensure governance and risk controls, and maintain a client-focused, agile delivery culture. Fluency in English and German is expected.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years in consultancies, banks, or software firms with banking focus.
• Expertise in corporate banking: global transaction banking, cash management, payments.
• Consultative selling and hands-on project experience in strategic engagements.
• Experience with SAP banking products is a strong plus.
• Strong business acumen and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and German.

• Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of banking transformation projects, ensuring alignment with client expectations and strategic objectives


• Develop strong relationships with C-level stakeholders, understanding their needs and challenges to deliver tailored solutions that facilitate transformation


• Drive program governance, risk management, and quality assurance across transformational projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements


• Engage in thought leadership, contributing insights and strategies to enhance SAP Fioneer's position as a trusted partner in bank transformation initiatives


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technology, finance, and operations experts, to deliver innovative solutions that meet client needs


• Monitor industry trends and market developments, leveraging insights to inform program strategy and execution

As a key figure in our Bank Transformation team, you will contribute to shaping the digital future of financial services while working in a collaborative and innovative environment.

Requirements

• 10+ years of work experience in consultancies, banks, and/or software companies - with a strong focus on commercial banking / corporate banking and a proven track record of successful execution


• Deep expertise in corporate banking, in particular, global transaction banking, cash management and payments, and solid understanding of technology


• Consultative selling approach paired with hands‑on project experience - especially for strategical engagements and early project phases


• Experience with SAP (banking) products is a strong plus


• Strong business acumen, entrepreneurial spirit, and interpersonal skills


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German
