Your Role at SEEBURGER

As Head of the Portfolio Management Office, you ensure the central coordination of the product and project portfolio of SEEBURGER AG and report directly to the Executive Board.

You create transparency on strategic initiatives, ensure alignment with corporate goals, and establish standards for effective portfolio management.

Your Tasks
  • Building and leading the Portfolio Management Office
  • Developing and implementing methods, processes, and KPIs for portfolio control and optimization
  • Ensuring central coordination and prioritization of products, major projects, and strategic internal initiatives in close alignment with the Executive Board and Strategy Board
  • Promoting an agile mindset and continuous improvement
  • Conducting portfolio reviews, risk analyses, and cross-functional resource planning
  • Establishing a transparent reporting system for stakeholders at all levels
  • Leading and further developing a small, highly qualified Portfolio Management Office team
Your Profile
  • Successfully completed degree in Business Administration, (Business) Informatics, Engineering, or a related field, or a comparable qualification
  • At least 10 years of experience in portfolio, project, or product management in the software or IT environment
  • Experience in building and leading governance structures
  • In-depth knowledge of portfolio management methods (e.g., Lean Portfolio Management), project control, and strategic planning
  • Strong analytical skills, structured way of working, and high results orientation
  • Strong communication skills, excellent moderation competence, and confident appearance when dealing with internal and external stakeholders
  • Agile mindset and high level of initiative
  • Fluent German and English skills
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Power BI, or comparable reporting and planning platforms
